Wednesday when I got home I scampered out again immediately to run an errand I could have done at lunch if Dot Org were still downtown, whine whine whine. Two seconds later I was back in the house.

"Cassidy has no rear plate."

Why would anyone steal a license plate? I have no idea. For a stolen car? If you stole a car, wouldn't it have its own plates? If you wanted different plates for your already-stolen car, why would you take only plates from a different car? Why stop there?

Well, anyway, so we have different plates now. When we moved here seven years ago, Colorado's plates were white on green. That was fine. In the meantime, the design changed. New plates are green on white!

"Plates should be white on a color, not a color on white!" I protested. "This new color scheme makes it look like away colors!"
