RJH told me about two photographs on his site whose filenames are s-bob and d-bob. I am to figure out what s and d stand for. My first guess, a pair of contrasting adjectives, is wrong; he hinted "Room with a View." Rewatch coming up.

Then I gave the URLs to HAO so she can attach a face to the name I mention so often.

I called CLH because tomorrow is her birthday. I had nothing interesting to say and was in and out of the kitchen baking oatmeal raisin cookies and RDC studying and CLH to sleep, which meant a curtailed conversation. I could be really daring and write her a letter, as I haven't in ages.

While looking for George Eliot yesterday, I also found some Gretel Ehrlich. I am not holding myself to the Villette conversation in Imagining Women and I want to read the novels first, so I'll start the Cather tonight. Or Ehrlich. And D.H. Lawrence appears prominently in The Virgin in the Garden, so I'm considering giving him another go. I've read Sons and Lovers and some short stories, but I've never even read Lady Chatterley's Lover.

Well. Picabo Street has won the gold in women's downhill skiing wearing goddess earrings similar to mine and CGK's, my oatmeal raisin cookies are done, and Blake is tired and cranky. Time for bed.
