Reading: Gail Carson Levine, The Princess Test

Moving: One-hour step class. Average heart rate unknown, but probably over 160 on average, peaking at at least 172 bpm.

A note to my Internal Jukebox: Just because I haven't given you your daily reinforcement of Ten, Deadicated, Stone Free, or jagged little pill does not mean I didn't work out, so Jeremy and Uncle John's Band practicing their Spanish Castle Magic just because someone oughta know can all go home. The Dancing Queen, only 17, has taken your place for today.

Was it "Muriel's Wedding" that brought ABBA back? Or the general stupid '70s revival? I love "Dancing Queen" though. It reminds me of Summer Sisters. Judy Blume titled every chapter or section with a defining song.

So anyway. I went to step today, my first class since sometime this fall. November sometime I guess. It felt good to work so hard and for nearly an hour instead of 30', but I am allegedly at risk of keeling over dead if I work at 92% of my maximum heart rate. I have to get into better aerobic shape on the machines so I can do step with two sets of risers (and aspire to three, which I've never done) without threatening myself with cardiac arrest.

Tomorrow maybe I'll talk about the Color Quiz. I don't like laying myself quite so explicitly open and bare in this medium though. So maybe not.

I'll try to have a thought past my exercise regimen, though.

Except I wish happily to crow that RDC and I both think that my tush is smaller. I want these saddlebags gone.
